A beautiful Hawaiian Akua Kai Tiki measuring 39 inches tall (100 cm) and carved out of a single piece of solid wood. Has a stained look and is hand waxed before shipping out. Akua means God or Image and Kai has meaning Sea/Ocean. The original Akau Kai is now featured in the Hawai'i Museum, Honolulu and is the only one of its kind. Today it is considered by experts to be the largest and finest of this class of portable image. This Tiki image is solid and weighs around 18 lbs
