This is a unique piece of octopus art that depicts the oceans master of disguise the cephalopod. This piece was based on the Hawaiian octopus which is called He’e in the Hawaiian language.
However the Japanese word tako is more commonly used throughout the Hawaiian Islands when talking about this wonderful sea creature. This piece was painted with acrylic and enamel on a mounted birch panel. It measures 12" x 12".

They are gallery wrapped around a 1.5" stretcher bar frame, printed with archival pigment-based ink, and coated with a UV varnish that will extend the life of your art.
