Jacob's original piece of this Tiki Motorcycle art shows a bad ass tiki dude who has a “Makini”, or Gourd Helmet, on the handlebars of his bike while blazing two tiki torches as he cruises into Hilo town. The title Highway to Hilo refers to Saddle Road which is the road that links the west side of the island to the east by cutting right in between two of the largest volcanoes in the state, Mauna Kea, and Mauna Loa! The original painting is available at Olani Gallery on Oahu in Ko Olina and measures 12" x 16". It’s painted with many layers of acrylic and is outlined with One Shot enamel on Clay board.
These are hand-signed, ready to hang, high quality Giclee inkjet reproductions nearly as beautiful as the original work. They are gallery wrapped around a 1.5" stretcher bar frame, printed with archival pigment-based ink, and coated with a UV varnish that will extend the life of your art. Please allow up to two weeks for your prints to be shipped from the time ordered since custom stretcher bars must be made and the Giclee must be stretched at the time of the order.
