This hand-carved tiki mask portrays Kane and Kanaloa, two important deities in Hawaiian culture. Kane, known as the Life Giver, is the first to arrive in Hawai'i and is revered for the sanctity of all life. Kanaloa is associated with hope, faith, cleansing through fresh water, fishing, and abundance. They both play a significant role in agriculture, fish, and procreation and are often depicted with various crops such as kalo, 'awa, mai'a, ko, and 'ohe.
Mask measures approximately 40 inches high by 6-1/4 inches wide. The perfect mask for that Island-Style room or office. Great gift idea. All hand painted and finished.
