A beautifully handcrafted Hawaiian Leiomano Hand Club featuring shark teeth made of resin. This Alii club is a striking replica of a weapon captures the artistry and history of old Hawaii. While the original Leiomano could deliver serious force in battle, today it stands as a remarkable collector’s piece and a work of island craftsmanship.
Each club is carved from a single piece of wood and measures approximately 16 inches in length, with traditional fiber wrapping on the handle.
Ali'i refers to the hereditary line of rulers, the noho ali'i, of the Hawaiian Islands. Aliʻi nui were supreme high chiefs of an island and no others were above them. In traditional times there were different types of aliʻi who had different responsibilities contributing to the welfare of the people and the land.
