This replica Hawaiian museum Akua Kai Tiki has been stained in Mission Oak, which gives it a beautiful antique look and measures 20 inches tall (50 cm). This Ki'i (TIki) is carved out of a single piece of solid monkey pod wood. 

Akua means God or Image and Kai has meaning Sea/Ocean. The original Akau Kai is now featured in the Hawai'i Museum, Honolulu and is the only one of its kind. Today it is considered by experts to be the largest and finest of this class of portable image.
